We Should listen to elders
In the east the rays of bright light are spreading. With the first rays of dawn, coming and projecting from behind the mountains the buds have blossomed and adding fragrance to the surroundings. The droplets of dew are like lustrous pearls that are gently arranged on the carpets of green grass. The chirruping sounds of birds are singing Suprabhatam -the welcome song of early Sunrise.
At one corner a little deer had drunk the milk of its Mother to its heart?s content. As it had recouped energy, it hopped here and there. The green carpets of grass… very thickly intertwined creepers of plants had filled its heart with enthusiasm. The happiness doubled. After all, it is a little deer and then it is making tiny jumps. It has come to experience the joy of that frolic. Gradually that hops turned into a run. It had gone a little distant away from the mother. The mother had already been warning.” It is common to be overjoyed, exciting in the fledgling stage of walking…don?t go quite a long. Beware that you might get lost in the forest”. But, had the tiny creature cared to listen? No. Looking that beautiful forest, hopping and with quick cadence it ran speedily in the forest, it had gone into the dense forest, somewhere it had stopped as it was exhausted. On every corner there are dense thickets? it had no idea on how it could get back.
That calf was looking sides with fear and fret. A tiger waiting for that very opportunity had come before it. The beast was waiting for its turn to gulp
the deer. Till such a time the deer hadn?t realized its grave mistake of paying a deal ear to the advice of mother. The warmth in the mother?s touch…milk it drank to the heart?s content…beautiful dawn…Invigorating environment…the tempting forest and its beautiful scenes… the memories of its hops and jumps with the joy of watching…Alas. How all these things turned in a short while horrible.
